C. Seal, RN, MSNDirector of Nursing

As the Director of Nursing at Felbry College-School of Nursing, Ms. Seal, MSN RN is committed to providing compassionate leadership and support to students, faculty, and staff.  Ms. Seal has a passion for student-centered learning and active learning strategies to assist students in achieving their educational goals.   She believes in empowering students to take responsibility for their personal and academic accomplishments.  

Ms. Seal is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Nursing Education/Leadership at Walden University.  She will begin work on her dissertation in January 2018.  Ms. Seal holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from Walden University, which she obtained in August, 2012. Throughout her master’s program, she developed a passion for active learning, student-centered teaching, and a love for learning that she strives to impart to each of her students.  Ms. Seal earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Akron in June, 1996.

Ms. Seal has over a decade of didactic, lab, simulation, and clinical teaching experience for numerous courses including Fundamentals, Medical Surgical Nursing, and Nursing Concepts. She has extensive experience with training students and faculty to utilize simulation as a teaching tool to help students apply theory to practice.  Ms. Seal’s has over 20 years of professional nursing experience primarily on medical-surgical, orthopedic, and transitional care units.  She has served as a Nursing Simulation and Skills Lab Manager and Director of Operations for a home health agency.
